UGC NET Admit Card Download 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the detailed schedule for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) in June 2024. The UGC NET exam is set for 18 June 2024, and will be conducted in OMR (Pen and Paper Mode). The exam city intimation slip was released on 7 June 2024. The UGC NET June 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts on 18 June 2024. The first shift will run from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates can download their UGC NET Admit Card 2024 from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, starting 14 June 2024.
UGC NET Exam Format
Exam Mode:
- OMR Based: Candidates will fill in circles on an answer sheet.
Number of Papers:
- Two: Both papers are conducted back-to-back without any break.
Paper I:
- Marks: 100
- Questions: 50
- Focus: Assesses teaching and research aptitude, reasoning, comprehension, thinking skills, and general awareness.
Paper II:
- Marks: 200
- Questions: 100
- Focus: Subject-specific, based on the candidate’s chosen field, testing their knowledge in that area.
Languages:
- Options: English and Hindi (except for language-specific papers).
- Note: Language selection must be made carefully during application as it cannot be changed later.
Marking Scheme:
- Each Question: 2 marks.
- Correct Answer: 2 marks.
- No Negative Marking: No marks deducted for wrong answers.
- Unanswered/Unmarked/Reviewed Questions: 0 marks.
- Answer Choice: Only one answer should be chosen per question.
- Incorrect/Ambiguous Questions with Attempted Correct Answers: Awarded marks.
- Incorrect/Dropped Questions: +2 marks for candidates who attempted them.
